Woods & Warner were engaged for the full renovation of this existing P&O Style Home on Sydney’s Lower North Shore. Retaining notable curve details and the implementation of specific design sensibilities that are more current to today’s architecture style was the brief. The client’s love of interiors that are sophisticated with a sprinkle of Hollywood Glam made the W&W collaboration a rewarding experience. Foundations of black, white with mixed metals created balance and a timeless elegance to the home. The powerful palette called for highlight colours to be introduced to give each of the spaces their own unique personality. The visual drama adapts well to the traditional elements and equally the contemporary aesthetics. Each of the spaces are adorned with tessellated marble elements, polished brass tapware & hardware, exquisite craftsmanship in specialty profiles and cabinetry and layered with customised lighting selections. The furniture and artwork selections throughout the home recognise and acknowledge Australian Designers – there is a glamour and opulence within the pieces which blend rich materials and striking shapes to ensure the beauty of this home is elevated and one not to be unnoticed.
